How much do private swim lessons cost in Coral Springs?
Coral Springs families should not have to ask twice, so the Florida rates are published in full. Splash Starter is a 30-minute lesson for ages 1 to 5 at $54.99 USD. Learn to Swim is a 45-minute lesson for ages 5 to 17 at $69.99 USD, and Adult Swim is a 45-minute lesson for ages 18 and up, also $69.99 USD. Those are the standard published Florida rates, and because instruction is one-on-one, none of that time is spent waiting a turn on a pool deck. One package deal applies: buy ten lessons together and 10% comes off the single-lesson rate.
What ages and levels do you teach in Coral Springs?
Toddlers through adults. The youngest swimmers start with comfort, safe entries, floating and breath control; school-age kids and teens build strokes, turns and endurance; and adults are welcome at any starting point, including never having swum a length. The lesson is built around the swimmer, so a first-timer and a club-team hopeful can be taught in the same pool on the same afternoon.

Coral Springs was drawn on paper before it was a place. Coral Ridge Properties bought 3,869 acres from the Lyons family on December 14, 1961 for a million dollars, and the city was chartered on July 10, 1963, with the developer writing the rulebook as the streets went in. Those rules stuck: the city is still known for unusually strict landscaping and sign laws, down to paint colors, roofing and boat storage. An early Trivial Pursuit edition asked about the first McDonald's built without the golden arches; it stood here. The city those rules produced counted 134,394 residents at the 2020 census, under a motto — "Everything Under the Sun!" — that a Broward August takes literally.

The city runs more than fifty municipal parks across over 675 acres, and the Sportsplex gathers much of that into one campus — fields, courts and trails, ringed by the Aquatic Complex, the Tennis Center, the Sawgrass Nature Center and the Florida Panthers IceDen. Add Mullins Park on Ben Geiger Drive and Turtle Run on Wiles Road, and a lot of households already have four evenings spoken for. The city's Aquatic Complex on Royal Palm Boulevard is built for competition — a 50-meter competition pool, a 25-meter FINA-designed pool, diving platforms at 7.5 and 10 meters, and a swim shop. It is not a beginner's building, and yet it still keeps a 35-by-66-foot teaching pool with a maximum depth of four feet, because even a facility built for national-level training needs shallow, quiet water for people still learning. An at-home lesson is that same shallow water: your own pool, no lane traffic, no bleachers.
The Coral Springs Improvement District has provided flood control through stormwater and canal maintenance to a portion of the city for more than fifty years, and those canals run behind ordinary back fences.
