How much do private swim lessons cost in Coconut Creek?
No quote request and no sales call first — the numbers are published. The Splash Starter lesson runs 30 minutes for ages 1 to 5 and costs $54.99 USD. Learn to Swim runs 45 minutes for ages 5 to 17 at $69.99 USD, and Adult Swim runs 45 minutes for ages 18 and up, also at $69.99 USD. The rate is identical whether the pool sits behind a single-family house near Sabal Pines Park or a townhome off Lyons Road, and every minute of it is one-on-one. Buying a ten-lesson package brings the single-lesson rate down by 10%.
What ages and levels do you teach in Coconut Creek?
Toddlers through adults, at any level. The youngest swimmers work on comfort, safe entries, floating and breath control; school-age kids and teens build strokes, turns and endurance; and adults are welcome whether they are starting from zero or fixing habits they picked up decades ago. Nothing about the lesson depends on your swimmer already being good at it.

Coconut Creek is a small city with a deliberate personality. It incorporated on February 20, 1967 after separating from Pompano Beach, and even its name was assembled on purpose — the developer Robert E. Bateman spliced together Indian Creek in Miami-Dade and Miami's Coconut Grove. Today it holds 57,833 residents across about twelve square miles, and describes itself as "an innovative and engaged community with a small-town personal touch." It is best known by a nickname that sounds invented and is not: the Butterfly Capital of the World, earned by Butterfly World at Tradewinds Park on West Sample Road, billed as the world's largest butterfly park, with roughly 20,000 exotic butterflies inside.
The city is unusually green for suburban Broward, and that is policy, not accident. Coconut Creek has been named a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation every year since 1989 — thirty-six years by the city's own 2024 awards list — and in 2005 the National Wildlife Federation certified it as Florida's first and the nation's eleventh Community Wildlife Habitat. Three Broward County natural areas sit inside the city limits: Fern Forest Nature Center on Lyons Road, the Helene Klein Pineland Preserve and the Kristin Jacobs Natural Area at Hillsboro Pineland.
